Judging & Awards Process
Judging of nominations will be conducted in two phases: preliminary and final.
During preliminary judging, each nomination will be reviewed and rated by no fewer than nine (9) volunteer judges who have been approved as qualified (by CSBA staff) to judge those nominations. All nominations will be viewed and rated at the judges' convenience over the Internet. Rating will be done on a scale of 1-10.
Applications for the 2011 Costa del Sol Business Awards will be closed at 2 pm on 13 October 2011
Any application received after the deadline will not be accepted.
All nominations that receive a high average score in the preliminary round of judging, regardless of category, will automatically be designated as Finalists, and will receive a Certificate of Finalist Recognition if they are not one of the CSBA winners.
On 20th October 2011, members of the Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and other select business leaders will perform the final judging, during which they will choose CSBA winners, at their discretion, from among the finalists.
